The Cheeky Elf Brekkie at Wroxham Barns

On 3rd December, two cheeky elves took a trip from the North Pole to visit Wroxham Barns for a very special event – The Cheeky Elf Brekkie.

The event – which sold out in less than a week – gave a handful of children a very special opportunity to have breakfast, make crafts, listen to a festive story and take a photo with Santa’s best (but cheeky!) helpers.

Overnight, the elves had been working their magic and had turned the cafe into something that looked as if it had been picked straight out of a classic Christmas movie.

On the winter’s morning, everyone that arrived was greeted with the mischievous laughter and smiles of the energetic elves as they wondered into a winter wonderland.

The cheeky elves had also put their own spin on the menu! It offered a range of treats, including tasty breakfast rolls and pancakes loaded with indulgent toppings, such as gingerbread, chocolate, whipped cream and fruit (I think the elves took inspiration from Buddy the Elf’s sweet pancakes in the movie!).

As everyone began to tuck into their delicious breakfasts, the elves continued to spread their Christmas cheer (and perhaps see what food looked the tastiest!).

Throughout the breakfast, everyone was able to get involved with some festive colouring and create their own Christmas tree which they could take home as a memory of their time with the cheeky elves!

After finishing some scrumptious food (there was not a crumb left on any plate!), it was time to hear a couple of magical stories from the elves.

Everyone listened in awe of the tales the elves told from their time in the North Pole and adventures with Santa.

It was then time for the elves to get their best poses at the ready as everyone was given the opportunity to take a photo with the pair of mischief makers before they headed back home to help Santa with his final preparations before the big day!

Everyone headed home full of Christmas cheer and were each given a bag of magical reindeer food that they could sprinkle outside their home on Christmas Eve to help guide Santa’s sleigh.

The Cheeky Elf Brekkie created plenty of festive joy, laughter and memories for all the families and friends that attended – it was a perfect start to the festive season.
