Jolly Bubble and Shine: Cleaning Services That Make a Real Difference

I don’t know about you, but I think there is no better feeling than a clean room (who else is obsessed with watching cleaning videos on social media?!).

After a deep clean of my room, my mind always feels refreshed. It’s as if clearing the mess around me (which mainly consists of mugs and plates!) helps to clear the worries in my mind – it makes the rest of my to-do list feel more achievable.

Every week, I tell myself I will be better at keeping my room spotless. However, amidst the chaos and worries of everyday life, it can be so easy to let the mess build up (let’s be honest, don’t we all have a pile of clothes that need to be put away?!).

Even though I know a Sunday reset would make me feel better mentally, sometimes I struggle to find the energy to give my room a refresh at the end of a long week.

I recently spoke to Liv Jolly, the Owner of Jolly Bubble & Shine, to discover how her cleaning services will make your home sparkle and give you the space to switch off from the stress of everyday life.

When did you launch Jolly Bubble and Shine (and what was the inspiration behind this)?

I launched Jolly Bubble & Shine in October 2025 with a clear purpose: to do more than just clean homes.

I offer regular maintenance cleans alongside specialist deep cleans. whether one-off or ongoing, helping to restore spaces and bring them back to life.

From tackling stubborn limescale and built-up grime to removing mould, I take pride in transforming homes and showing clients that sometimes, you don’t need a full renovation. you just need the right care and attention.

How important are the relationships you create with your clients?

For me, this business has always been about people first.

The relationships I build with my clients are incredibly important. Inviting someone into your home is deeply personal, and I understand how vulnerable that can feel. That’s why I prioritise trust, consistency, and making sure every client feels comfortable, respected, and genuinely happy with the standard of my work.

What impact does your business aim to have (helping those who don’t have the time to clean or are unable to due to physical reasons)?

My goal goes far beyond cleaning. I want to make a difference.

In time, I hope to offer free deep cleans to those who are struggling-whether financially or due to mental health challenges that make it hard to keep on top of things.

I want people to know there is no shame in needing help. Life can become overwhelming, and everyone deserves support and a space that feels calm, safe, and manageable.

What has been key to your growth as a business?

One of the key ways I’ve grown my business is through social media- showing real results and real transformations. I want people to see what’s possible.

I always meet my clients beforehand so we can connect, understand their needs, and build that trust from the very beginning.

It’s important to me that they know I’m there not just as a cleaner, but as someone who genuinely wants to support them.

What has been your proudest moment since launching Jolly Bubble and Shine?

A big part of my drive comes from my own life experience.

I became pregnant at 19 and often struggled to keep up with my home. I was lucky to have a strong support system that stepped in when things felt too much.

Now, I want to be that support for others- whether it’s new mums, individuals with limited mobility, or anyone who simply needs an extra hand.

Being able to give back in that way is something I’m incredibly proud of.

I don’t know about you, but having a clean room makes everything else going on in my life feel more achievable (clean room= clean mind mindset!).

What impact do you believe cleaning can have on someone’s life (and how do you aim to achieve this with your business)?

I truly believe that a clean space has a powerful impact on your mindset.

It creates room to breathe, helps you reset, and allows you to spend more time doing what you love with the people you love.

Time is something we can’t get back, and if I can give that back to my clients by taking care of their homes, then I know I’m making a real difference.

What makes Jolly Bubble & Shine unique is that it’s completely personal. It’s just me—Liv Jolly.

Every client gets the same friendly face, the same dedication, and the same high standard every time.

I always go above and beyond, and I actively ask for feedback because I’m constantly striving to improve.

Do you have any cleaning tips/ tricks you have learnt that have been invaluable to your business?

Over time, I’ve developed my own methods and found products I truly trust, everything I use has been tested in my own home first.

I know what works, what smells great, and how to use each product safely and effectively.

A few years ago, I was a Cleaner at a local care home. When I told people what my job was, I would often receive responses or expressions that implied I was ‘below them’ or ‘unskilled’. How damaging are these stereotypes to the industry (and how can we tackle them)?

There’s still a stigma attached to cleaning, with some people saying, “you’re just a cleaner.”

But to me, it’s so much more than that.

I’m someone people trust in their most personal spaces. I help relieve stress, create comfort, and bring happiness into people’s homes. That matters.

Cleaners deserve more respect, we do the jobs many people don’t want to do.

And the truth is, I love what I do. Seeing the difference I make and the smiles I create is what keeps me going.

What do you hope to achieve at Jolly Bubble and Shine in the next year?

Looking ahead, I have big plans.

Within the next year, I want to launch a monthly membership club—offering regular “reset” services, from organising cupboards and toys to deep-cleaning bathrooms and more.

I also aim to dedicate at least one day each month to providing a free clean for someone in need, offering not just a one-off service but ongoing support.

At the heart of everything I do is this: kindness, understanding, and making a genuine impact.

I want people to feel comfortable asking for help, to feel proud of their homes, and most importantly, to be kind to themselves.
